Hi, my name is Jackie, and I live in Harlem, NYC. I started this business because I am passionate about photography and to help parents, students, brides, mothers-to-be, event planners, and anyone having a special event, conquer the daily stress of finding a high-quality photo booth rental company.
In 2006, I was the ‘go-to-camera-girl’ in my neighborhood. I was always invited and hired to take pictures at events. One thing I noticed to be challenging is the lighting at most venues. Between the dark-dim lights, to no lights, and the flashing disco ball lights, I knew I need constant high-quality lighting to create the best photos ever. I love photography, but there were many issues beyond my control at different venues, which could be a photographers nightmare.
So I decided to create Jack In the Photo Box, a portable ‘selfie-station’ photo booth. This ‘open space’ photobooth causes people to get excited, engaged, and have fun at events. Don’t get it twisted, children, grandparents, and young adults love the photo booth. In the last three years, we offer still photos and gif and boomerang features.
